Echoes Music Therapy
Echoes Music Therapy provides a calm, supportive space where each session is tailored to individual needs. Music is not used to fix or change, but to honour each person’s uniqueness and strengths. With warmth and presence, therapy becomes a shared space of trust, expression, and meaningful growth. Grounded in an evidence-based approach, Echoes Music Therapy delivers mobile services across Newcastle and the Hunter Region, bringing care and connection directly to the door.
“Empowering lives through music - echoes that inspire change.”
What is Music Therapy?

Registered Music Therapist, Kate Leung
Hi, I’m Kate, a Registered Music Therapist and Neurologic Music Therapist with 7 years of clinical experience. I have worked across diverse settings, including special needs schools, aged care, clinics, and community programs.
My work is guided by a deep respect for each person’s story. I look for the moments where music meets the person, not to push, but to walk alongside. Together, we create a shared path guided by presence and trust.
As a first-generation immigrant and former teacher, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my practice, with a commitment to building authentic, safe, and empowering connections.
